A poster designed for the exhibition Naald en Draad (Needle and Thread).
The design was inspired by the damaging effects of chemicals on people's lives in China. The poster was a response to a call for participation in a project that looked at the textile industry and its production process. Many chemicals are used in the process of dyeing fabrics and dumped into rivers and lakes after. The result is polluted waters and other freshwater resources. The aim was to raise awareness into the fact that many people drink this polluted water, eat the polluted food from the seas and use everyday objects that contain chemicals.
